•\tSupport the data analytics focused projects for the Digital Practice at a systems level
•\tDatabase administration, cloud-based server configuration, port assignments and permissions/security management
•\tFront end web page development, user interface development and testing
•\tFulfil role of Project Manager or Project Technical Lead in delivering projects internally
•\tEnsure the delivery of robust data analytics and system design on time and within budget
•\tEnsure robust best practice for data analytics is undertaken across all your work
•\tSupport the uptake and implementation of data analytics best practice across the wider Digital Practice.
About the role:
•\tContribute to the full range of research, investigation, analysis, assessment, modelling, design, reporting, and presentation tasks with a focus on Data Analytics Projects and SaaS-related products.
•\tLead the delivery of projects internally and externally
•\tProvide technical mentoring and coaching to junior team members
•\tDelegating tasks and set deadlines for junior team members
•\tEmpower the team through your influence to deliver the Data, Analytics, and Insights Discipline Strategy
•\tStrive for continuous improvement, efficiency and effectiveness in undertaking all tasks and responsibilities
•\tBuild strong relationships and a sharing-culture across the Data, Analytics, and Insight’s discipline
•\tEncourage creativity and innovation
Business Development (Supporting Group Manager & CSMs):
•\tIdentify and understand market trends, pursue opportunities and win revenue generating work from existing clients in the Water and Transport sectors.
•\tSupport the development of new client offerings such as Software as a Service opportunities
•\tContribute to preparation of tenders and proposals as required
•\tCloud infrastructure/architecture experience
•\tWorking knowledge of SQL
•\tExperience in R, Python, web development
•\tStrong knowledge in mathematics (particularly stats)

To be successful for this role you'll need:
• An aptitude for computing, data and technology. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science or Mathematics, Geography or Environmental Sciences.
• Demonstrated ability to understand problems and develop creative solutions
• Competent in relevant technical fields, including use of software and computer systems
• A real interest in developing automated systems
• Competent communicator (both written and verbal)
