At Stantec, we have an exciting opportunity for an Employee Communications Co-ordinator that will be responsible for supporting the delivery of our communications strategy and plan to our UK and Ireland Teams. This role will be based in our fabulous new office in Warrington which is home to over 200 of our employees. The office is bright, spacious and has car parking facilities.

You will have the platform to engage with our teams across the business, through the promotion of our culture, company values and growth strategy. We have many internal wide events/campaigns throughout the year that are focused around employee wellbeing and satisfaction, of which you will have an integral involvement with.

We encourage creative thinking and “outside of the box” ideas for the implementation and delivery of these messages/campaigns. You will have the chance to execute your own inspiring and innovative concepts and be influential in the way we communicate to our employees.

ABOUT YOU

You will be degree qualified (or equivalent) in communications, public relations or a related field and have proven knowledge and experience of employee communications. It would be advantageous to be a member of the Institute of Internal Communications or have the view to enlist in the near future. A great relationship builder who can manage partnerships at all levels as well as possessing good creative written and spoken skills to confidently write for a variety of audiences, maintaining confidentiality when required.

Knowledge of SharePoint and Microsoft Teams will be important experience to draw upon for this role alongside a good level of proficiency with the use of MS Office (in particular, PowerPoint, Word and Excel). Someone that has excellent copy writing, proof – reading and editing skills, with solid attention to detail.

From a characteristic perspective, you will ideally be a creative thinker and problem solver with a driven attitude. Moreover, this role will suit someone with great organisational and time management skills.
