Your Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Director, Enterprise Data & Analytics to join our Business Experience team.

In this role, you will be responsible for engaging with the business to deliver data and analytics solutions based on a data governance framework that you will define and manage with the business. Your combination of technical expertise as well as strategic thinking will help to deliver the tools and analytical needs to the business.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the enterprise data and analytics function and strategies that will allow data to be used effectively by the business in a manner that protects the security and privacy of our data.

  • Establish the strategy and framework for governing access and use of enterprise data to support non-IT business applications and data analytics, in alignment with IT data security and privacy standards.

  • Assess the business justification for non-standard data access requests in alignment with the data governance framework.

  • Perform data analysis to provide meaningful and insightful reporting to business stakeholders to help inform decisions and respond to adhoc data inquiries.

  • Explore innovative ways to provide analytical solutions.

  • Champion the effective adoption of the enterprise data analytics platform by business users, including consultation support in applying the tools to perform data analytics.

  • Through strong engagement with the business, identify and prioritize needs for enhancing data analytic and standard dashboard/reporting capabilities, perform business analysis and provide requirements to the IT technical development team to design and implement.

  • Engage business data analysts to assess existing local solutions for opportunities to transition to enterprise solutions to drive efficiency and leverage innovation for others across the enterprise.

  • Work collaboratively with data management stakeholders to align practices and processes to achieve desired analytic & reporting outcomes, including data integrity and data quality.

  • Partner closely with leadership within functional services and operations to ensure data analytics and reporting solutions are meeting the company’s needs and align to the company priorities, goals, and metrics.

  • Develop metrics and/or benchmarks to measure success against targets and ensure accountability in tracking and monitoring initiatives.

  • Build, lead, inspire, coach, and develop a geographically diverse team that is committed to service and quality outcomes.


Your Capabilities and Credentials

  • Strong business acumen and breadth of understanding of enterprise data across diverse business process domains (i.e., Human Capital Management, Financial Management, Project Management, Business Development, Business Management, etc.).

  • Proven experience working with enterprise data from CRM & ERP systems (preferably Oracle) and enterprise reporting tools. Experience using Oracle Data Visualizer is preferred, but other tools such as PowerBI are acceptable.

  • Advanced understanding of Microsoft Excel.

  • Experience in translating current and anticipated business needs to data analytic and reporting strategies, priorities, and plans.

  • Experience with predictive analytics, machine learning or AI.

  • Proven track record of service-focused design and delivery of high-quality work and achievement of results.

  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of leaders and employees.

  • Excellent critical thinking skills, including using good business sense and organizational values to make decisions involving varying levels of risk and ambiguity.

  • Collaborative influencer with strong consultative skills, excellent stakeholder management and listening skills.

  • Superior organization skills, ability to effectively multi-task and attention to details are critical.

  • Dynamic, adaptable to change and enjoys working in a challenging and collaborative environment.

  • Experience leading, developing, managing, and growing a team. Track record of creating and maintaining high performance teams.

  • Excellent coaching and mentoring skills.

  • Maintain currency in data analytic trends and practices.

  • Understanding of confidentiality policies and privacy legislation across various geographies.

  • Experience operating in a large, complex, and changing environment. Demonstrates learning agility.

Education and Experience

  • A post-secondary degree in Business, Information Management, Data Management or a related discipline.

  • 10 years of related experience, or a combination of data analysis and general business experience.

  • A minimum of five years of experience working with data from a complex integrated ERP system.

  • Demonstrated ability to utilize data and analytics deliver value valuable information to the business
