Stantec Technical Administrator (Tyseley Waste to Energy Plant) - PART TIME in Site Based, United Kingdom

Stantec Treatment is looking to strengthen their support team at our Tyseley (Birmingham) Waste to Energy plant with a Technical Administrator. The hours for this role is 27.5 per week (preferably 9.00am – 3.00pm) so this could suit someone who is looking for flexibility in their working hours.

You will be responsible for supporting the Management team for Administration & Compliance duties.

You will report directly to the Plant Manager and duties/responsibilities of the role will include;

• Overseeing office equipment and general services, maintaining stationary and office supply stocks to required levels

• Acting as first point of contact for all general administration and communication activities

• Maintaining various staff records such as training, issue of PPE, laundry, etc. booking training courses as required for staff to meet needs of site training database, Induction Records

• Liaising with Suppliers

• Producing reports / statistics for management information / budget purposes

• Producing and submitting reports/ statistics to regulatory bodies for site compliance

• Liaising with sub-contractors to ensure levels of service / supply of consumables

• Administration of Plant Team Site/ Sharepoint - permission management/ document control etc.

• Arranging purchasing of goods and services, spares, and consumables for site / liaising with STL’s to ensure levels are kept at required levels

• Monitoring and receipting ordered items, confirming deliveries. Entering details of stock received / used onto CMMS

• Carrying out routine and assist with annual Stock Taking. Ops & Maintenance Manager to spot check and sign off Stock monthly and annually

• Producing Purchase Orders, Raising invoices, Receipt goods / services within the company finance system (IFS), dealing with invoice queries as and when they arise

• Inputting and maintaining the correct stock levels per the history of usage and the Ops & Maintenance Managers maintenance schedule

• Sourcing alternative suppliers as requested by relevant managers

• Strong communication skills

• Excellent computer and IT Skills – must have good working knowledge of Office 365

• Previous technical administration/document control/systems experience

• Proven ability to manage tasks from start to finish taking ownership of duties and responsibilities

• Excellent interpersonal skills required to liaise with Client representatives, senior management, and staff

• Experience of working within the construction industry (would be advantageous)
