Stantec Treatment is looking to strengthen their site operations team with a General Operative. Based at our Tyseley (Birmingham) site you will you will be responsible for maintaining safe and efficient operation of plant equipment. Maintaining a safe working area, ensuring fuel hall stock level is maintained which is critical to the plant operation. The role will also require you to support key maintenance activities within the operation and conduct banksman/weighbridge activities in the yard.
You will report directly to the Operations Supervisor and the responsibilities will include:
• Ensure safe vehicle movements are conducted around site (during down times and product delivery)
• Manage the biomass fuel levels within the fuel hall
• Move and load the fuel within the fuel hall and ensure safe vehicle manoeuvring within these areas
• Assist with the fuel sampling when required
• Assist with onsite operational and maintenance activities/ support
General Operative (Tyseley)
• Experience of operating a loading shovel
• Able to load and unload HGV vehicles
• Energy from waste, water treatment or anerobic digestion industry experience is ideal
• Experience in assisting operational and maintenance activities
• Counterbalance forklift and telehandler experience
