Your Duties

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Serves as Design/Production resource for Project/Program team

  • Supports and coordinates all work done for their assigned projects with the Program/Project Manager and Team Lead, for conformance with:

  • Budgets,

  • Priorities,

  • Scheduling

  • Maintains client standards and specifications

  • Ensures that all plans, drawings, details and specifications are prepared in accordance to said standards

  • Ensures designs meet applicable codes and regulations

  • Maintains high satisfaction rating from clients through superior service, quality workmanship, timely production and quick project turnaround and thorough understanding of client requirements

  • Maximizes marketing opportunities from existing clients by delivering excellence and quality on all assigned projects

Your Capabilities and Credentials

  • Bachelor's degree in architecture or related field or equivalent work experience

  • 3+ years experience in Retail/Commercial Architecture

  • Knowledge of architectural practice and construction materials

  • Must possess advanced CADD skills, including advanced level of understanding of ACAD 2014 or higher. REVIT and SketchUp experience is a plus

  • Commitment to excellence and high standards

  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work with constantly changing priorities

  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team

  • Proven ability to interpret drawings and specifications

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Understand the future trends in architectural design/materials and related industries, and develops designs based on these trends

  • Possess a thorough knowledge of architecture, urban design principles and construction materials and actively update this knowledge on a regular basis

  • Have a commitment to excellence and high standards in all aspects of the business and practice including:

  • Developing organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills;

  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities;

  • Deadlines and schedules of requested deliverables are met in a regular and consistent manner
