Your Opportunity

Stantec Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking candidates for a Project Coordinator position to work with our Environmental Services team in Reno, Nevada.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Formatting and proof reading environmental reports andNEPA documents, including technical and grammatical formatting/edits, andverification of correct genus and species names for biological resources.

  • Works closely with the project team to maintain acurrent and accurate understanding of project status, issues and changes.

  • Provides support to project management and team membersto adhere to client standards, Stantec required procedures, and documentmanagement.

  • Coordinates project deliverables and schedules.

  • Coordinating with outside vendors for documentreproduction, meeting space reservations, and food orders for meetings.

  • Assisting project managers with copying, binding, andmailing documents and reports.

  • Company vehicle mileage log tracking and monthlybilling of vehicle mileage.

  • Assisting project managers with transcribing conferencecall notes.

  • Making pdf reports and documents 508 compliant (i.e.,text to speech).

  • Assisting with proposals, statement of qualifications,and marketing literature.

  • Assisting project managers with environmental reportresearch, including submitting consultation requests to the NevadaDepartment of Wildlife, The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, and the NevadaNatural Heritage Program.

  • Assisting project managers with running budget reportsusing Oracle.

  • Provides general team support / office support functions as required.

Your Capabilities and Credentials

  • Prior experience working in consulting preferred.

  • Prior work in documentation control / project assistant role preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities and assignments.

  • Excellent written and verbal communications a must.

  • Strong analytical skills.

  • Must be detail-oriented, and resourceful.

  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work in a busy team environment.

  • Must be able to successfully work both collaboratively and independently.

  • Proficient with MS Office including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

  • Proficient with Adobe Acrobat.

Education and Experience

College degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience.

Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time.
