Description:

• Ensure consistent billing and financial reporting at project levels by following best practices.

• Review project budgets, staffing and work plans to guarantee appropriate fees.

• Offer exact invoices to clients and coordinate consultant payments.

• Monitor accounts receivable and support project managers with collection efforts.

• Run and send pre-bills for project manager’s review and instruction.

• Prepare invoices making changes and notifying timesheet errors to supervisors.

• Prepare and revise elaborate client invoices.

• Support analysis and report assigned projects’ financial information.

• Offer actual costs information to team and conduct transfers.

• Generate, audit and mail client invoices to assist in cash flow and make subcontractor invoice payments.

• Input owner billings, change and purchase orders, subcontracts, and journal entries.

• Support effective client relationship and submit project invoices.

• Ensure up-to-date maintenance of client contracts that reflect project needs.

• Guarantee timely reporting, budgeting, financial management and project forecasting to clients.

• Monthly, quarterly, and annual corporate reporting including account analysis & reconciliation.

• preparing inputs to month end reports including financial analysis & commentary.

• Preparing balance sheet account reconciliations and follow up & resolve reconciling items in a timely manner.

• Preparation of statutory accounts in accordance with various GAAP requirements

• Reconciliation between US GAAP and local GAAP accounting

• Ensuring internal procedures and policies are followed

• Working closely with Finance colleagues both locally and globally, adhering to global deadlines

• Ensuring the accurate compilation, analysis, and reporting of accounting data

• Ensuring accounting compliance with International Accounting Standards

• Reviewing entity profitability monthly to understand deviations

• Preparing Reporting packs as required for quarterly meetings

• Obtaining Time sheets from Business Units and posting them to the financial system.

• Work with Project Managers, company Treasury and Banks in issuance of Performance, Tender and Advance Payment bonds.

• Completes payments and controls expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices.

• Reconciles processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.

• Charges expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports, recording entries.

• Pays vendors by monitoring discount opportunities, verifying federal id numbers, scheduling, and preparing checks, and resolving purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies and documentation.

• Ensures credit is received for outstanding memos.

Qualifications:

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field preferably from a University.

• 5+ years of experience working as a Senior Accountant or Accounting Supervisor.

• ACCA, ICAEW, CIMA will be preferred.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.

• Understanding of accounting software like Deltek, Oracle, Navision

• Advanced in MS Excel.

• Strong aptitude for quantitative skills and numbers.

• Strong English verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to multitask and internal controls.

• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential data.

• Hardworking and honest

• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.

• Attention to detail and accuracy.

• Strong analytical skills
