Your Opportunity

Take the first step towards designing your career with Stantec. We have an exciting role and opportunity for an HR Support Coordinator to join our team. Reporting to the Supervisor of HR Support, this person will need excellent organizational and time management skills to support a wide variety of administrative tasks. Responsibilities may include coordinating and responding to internal and external inquiries, maintaining employee files, performing audits, and other duties as assigned. Join our collaborative HR team and play an important role in supporting the administrative needs of our HR partners and employees.

Your Key Responsibilities

• HR Support Activities

o Maintain employee e-files and respond to document requests as needed

o Create letters, verify employment, and provide other administrative support

o Assist with HR invoice payment and tracking

o Support specific tasks for certain HR programs, such as service awards

• HR Compliance Administration

o Performs miscellaneous HR audits

o Liaise with HR, Payroll, and various third-party vendors on compliance administration, primarily for North America

• HR Virtual Receptionist

o Coordinate and respond to a variety of email inquiries related to HR matters, collaborating with others as required

o Listen to, respond, and/or route voice messages to the appropriate team

• May perform other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned

Your Capabilities and Credentials

• Modern office equipment

• Microsoft Office Suite

• HR Systems (Oracle and Taleo would be assets)

• Human Resources general policies, procedures, and guidelines

Education and Experience

• Minimum of 2-3 years of related work experience

• An ability to manage a heavy workload, with a close attention to detail

• Have impressive communication skills and meet tight deadlines

• The ability to work autonomously, reviewing work on a regular basis and consistently meeting role objectives
