Your Key Responsibilities
Develop and Prepare Baseline Schedules for Program and Projects
Track and coordinate the progress of the project on a day-to-day basis to ensure that the project is on-track by developing and maintaining detailed product schedules
Take ownership of the planning and cost control function and ensure integrity of the data being processed
Identify Cost and Schedule Control Trends
Participate in cost and schedule risk assessments
Preparation of budges in conjunction with client and other team members
Interface with project teams to ensure the correct utilization of the project control system based on project specific requirements and guidelines
Supervise any supporting roles in the project controls area
Liaise with clients to clarify cost and schedule related issues and develop timely and meaningful reports
Assist with implementing PMIS for use on Program for controlling project's cost, schedule, and document management
Your Capabilities and Credentials
Ability to problem solve and think critically
Strong understanding of all phases of project controls
Ability to lead one or more teams through all phases of project control
Checks the work of others for accuracy and completeness and manages time to meet project budget and schedule
Participates and collaborates in project team setting and to engage in creative and critical thought
Advanced understanding of project controls concepts and ability to communicate ideas to others
Strong presentation and interview skills
Requires understanding of Microsoft Office Suite
Requires understanding of Primavera P6
Requires understanding of Microsoft Project
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Business Management or related field. Minimum of 8-10 years of experience preferred. Project Management Professional certification is desired.
Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.
