Join our team today as a Drainage Engineer in our growing Transportation in Orlando, Florida! The Drainage Engineer position requires knowledge in roadway drainage design and permitting.
Your Key Responsibilities
Assist in the design of stormwater management systems, storm drain systems, open channel conveyance, culvert analysis, bridge hydraulics and floodplain compensation.
Assist in the production of contract roadway plans to be submitted to the FDOT and municipalities.
Assist in the compilation of permits and reports for approval by regulating agencies.
Your Capabilities and Credentials
Experience with FDOT drainage criteria preferred.
Desirable candidate will have working knowledge of hydraulic modeling software such as HEC-RAS, ICPR, ASAD and Geopak Drainage.
Knowledge in Microstation/Geopak ideal.
A working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
Florida PE license a plus, but NOT required.
Education and Experience
A minimum of 2 years related to drainage desig
Requires Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE)
