As a member of our Asset Management team, you will typically be involved in developing system-based asset management principles to enable our Delivery Programmes to provide most efficient service-based Outcomes for our clients. You will support our Operations Directors and Technical Directors with the development and delivery of programmes, projects, technical outputs and measurable benefits.
An important part of your role will be to identify wider opportunities for clients to reduce risk and/or improve their effectiveness and efficiency through Business Improvement, and compile reports for the Client demonstrating the commercial benefits of recommended strategies. You will also proactively build internal and external relationships to influence client’s thinking (Asset Strategies) and raise the profile of our Asset Management group, with the overall aim of building and growing the Stantec business.

You will be degree qualified in a relevant field and ideally be an accredited member of an Institution or equivalent with significant practical experience. For senior roles, you will have experience working within a regulated utility market, e.g. water, energy, infrastructure.
You will have experience in asset management, improvement or change activities with challenging business outcomes in a matrix-managed environment. You will be a strategic thinker and have excellent analytical and conceptual skills. Senior staff will have strong knowledge of asset management policy and strategy and have experience of assessing and managing asset management risks, life-cycle decision-making and developing asset management plans . Above all, you will be inquisitive and keen to challenge the norms.
