Our Mobile, AL office is seeking an experienced Traffic Signal Technician to review and monitor traffic signal programming and troubleshooting projects in the area.
Your Key Responsibilities
Provide guidance to junior staff with the manual or remote programming of NEMA traffic signal controllers, conflict monitors and detection equipment.
Provide instruction and guidance to junior staff with troubleshooting and identification of traffic signal malfunctions.
Provide instruction and guidance to junior staff with the field repair of traffic signal malfunctions.
Provide independent reviews of traffic signal repair or installation plans.
Your Capabilities and Credentials
International Municipal Signal Association (IMSA) Level 2 or Level 3 Certification
Ability to manually and/or remotely program NEMA traffic signal controllers, conflict monitors and detection equipment.
Ability to instruct others on troubleshooting and identification of traffic signal malfunctions.
Ability to instruct others on field repair of malfunctioning traffic signals.
Education and Experience
Fifteen (15) or more years of experience working with traffic signal equipment.
Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.
