have an immediate opportunity for a Civil/Environmental Engineer in Training

who wants to contribute to the areas of stormwater, stream restoration and

water/sewer in an impactful way. Our strong team continues to grow, so it is an

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Thesuccessful candidate will report directly to a Senior Project Engineer orProject Manager and will have primarily infrastructure planning, analysis,and design responsibilities.

  • Performdetailed studies, review plans, hydraulic modeling and design tasksassociated with municipal water or water resource projects, under thesupervision of a project manager

  • Supportconstruction projects with field site visits and construction observationduties

  • Preparedocuments such as plans and specifications and technical reports

  • Coordinatewith engineers and technical staff to ensure that the project needs aremet in a timely and effective manner

  • Meetwith clients, municipal officials, and contractors to review project needsand coordinate field conditions

  • Followthe process for obtaining approvals from various agencies

  • Supportstream restoration hydraulic modeling and engineering design.

  • Providefield work for stream assessments, watershed plans and otherprojects.

  • Assist with business development and presentations

Your Capabilities and Credentials

  • Must be a registered Engineer-in-Training or ability to obtain within six months

  • Experience with design of water and wastewater infrastructure is preferred

  • Experience with stream restoration is preferred

  • AutoCAD and Civil 3D skills are very desirable

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office is require

  • Be a self-motivated individual, possessing strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Be adept at prioritizing multiple tasks

  • Construction related experience is a plus

  • Must have a valid Driver’s license and safe driving record

Education and Experience

  • Must have 1 to 4 years of engineering experience

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering

Typical office environment working with computers and sitting at a desk. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather
