Your Duties

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing safety and industrial hygiene consulting services for a variety of clients (including industrial/manufacturing companies);

  • Mentoring entry and mid-level industrial hygiene staff, both locally and nationally, client management services for existing clients nation-wide (US);

  • Sales of additional Stantec services to existing and new US clients, and assisting and supporting industrial hygiene staff and projects internationally.

Candidates for this position will be immediately in consideration for the Manager of Industrial Hygiene services for the U.S.

Your Capabilities and Credentials

  • Bachelor's and/or master’s degree in Industrial Hygiene and/or Toxicology, or a similar technical/scientific field

  • Minimum of 10 - 15 years of experience in industrial hygiene, with staff management preferred

  • Knowledge in and experience with federal, state and local regulations affecting industrial and manufacturing facilities, particularly OSHA and other rules pertaining to industrial hygiene and worker exposure monitoring and safety

  • Experience in providing expert witness consulting on various safety and IH projects

  • Certification by the American Board of Industrial Hygiene in Comprehensive Practice

  • Prior positions with consulting firms is highly preferred

  • Advanced technical skills, knowledge, effective oral and written communication skills including presentation, and public speaking and teaching skills
