•\tWe are looking for a driven individual to step into the exciting and challenging role of Civil Engineer for our Water Infrastructure projects based in our Melbourne office. We have a significant forward workload and have secured some really interesting projects.
•\tYou will be part of a dynamic team working closely with clients throughout the broader Melbourne region to deliver projects whilst enjoying the Melbourne lifestyle and diverse office culture.
•\tThis is an exciting opportunity for a professional engineer with a proven track record of successfully delivering projects to work collaboratively with our clients and colleagues across Australia and the wider Asia pacific business. You will have a chance to work on projects from the initial investigation and concept design right through to completion of construction.
•\tYou will join a team that works on water infrastructure projects, not only locally, but across Australia and the wider Asia Pacific region. You will work with a diverse client set from local government, industry and private development.
•\tOur preferred candidate for this role will have proven technical experience in a broad range of water infrastructure projects of water supply and sewerage networks. Experience in water and wastewater treatment plants, bulk water supply, and dams for regional and urban water authorities would also be considered. The role will see you covering the upfront feasibility work through to concept & detailed design. You will have the technical support of our extensive design resources based in Australia and the wider Asia Pacific area).
•\tYou will be experienced dealing with a range of clients and stakeholders including local authorities, government bodies and commercial companies.
•\tIn this exciting position, your own self-management skills will be as important as your technical and project management ones. You will need to be able to prioritize workloads whilst maintaining strong and trusting working relationships with our Clients' and colleague's both locally and across the broader Stantec team.
•\tYou will be able to work with remote teams to deliver projects to local clients.
•\tKey requirements are a BE Civil or Environmental Engineering or equivalent, plus a minimum of 5-10 years professional experience in the consulting or engineering industry.
•\tChartership or working towards is preferable.
