We are flexible on location for the right candidate so If this sounds like something that appeals to you, we have an exciting opportunity for a Nature Based Solutions (NBS) technical specialist to join our growing catchment management team.
Key to our growth is continuous development of our expertise in NBS as an alternative to and / or to complement hard engineering. This is a great opportunity for an experienced and imaginative technical expert to join an expert team in a role that will provide plenty of scope for technical development and career progression.
Together we will identify NBS opportunities and develop flow and water quality solutions for the natural and urban landscapes. You will provide technical expertise in the specification, design and the delivery of NBS, particularly integrated constructed wetlands (ICWs), to minimise pollution risk and / or improve the status of rivers, lakes and reservoirs.
We have an expanding project portfolio of sustainable water and wastewater management projects designed to meet community needs including reducing carbon and improving biodiversity. We are already identifying and developing NBS opportunities, but we also see a high growth potential over the next 5 – 10 years. The successful candidate will have a great opportunity to influence our projects and make a real difference to people’s lives and the communities we live in.
You will be degree qualified (or equivalent) in science, geography, mathematics, or engineering with significant experience NBS and catchment based sustainable solutions. You will also be a chartered member of a relevant professional institution or working towards this. Ideally you will also:

Have experience in working with different stakeholder groups to support delivery and ensure long-term maintenance and thus performance.
