Stantec Senior Transport Planner in London, United Kingdom

We currently looking for a Senior Transport Planner to join us in London. This is a fantastic opportunity to join our reputable London transport team that work with a wide variety of clients across London and the South-East. You will have the opportunity to work within a passionate group of transport professionals and with a strong forward workload, we now look to capitalise on current opportunities and expand the team.

Over the years, we have worked across nearly every London borough and on some fantastic high-profile projects such as Lewisham Gateway, Elephant Park, Agar Grove Estate in Camden, South Thamesmead, and the Eddington Site at North West Cambridge for the University of Cambridge.

Our future pipelines are growing particularly in the development planning sector and we are leading on schemes such as London Healthy Streets. This role will provide you with significant opportunity for career progression and personal development, through the delivery of high value quality services to influential clients.

You will have the opportunity to get involved in all aspects of our projects from inception to completion. You will play an important role in developing and influencing transport strategies while overseeing the preparation of transport assessments, modelling and travel plans. You will support the preparation of business cases to bid for funding of transport infrastructure schemes. Supervising, mentoring and training the junior members of the team will be an important part of your role.


You will be degree qualified in transportation, geography, Engineering or a related field and ideally you will be Chartered.

You will have experience and understanding of the planning system and strong experience with Transport Assessments, Travel Planning, Junction modelling / analysis and experience of relevant software packages. You will have experience with budget and quality management at project level
