Stantec Commercial Manager in London, United Kingdom

We have a newly created opportunity for a Commercial Manager to be accountable for ensuring our overall project delivery performance is well managed. This business-critical role will see you lead our commercial & project management excellence through effective knowledge sharing, strong governance, effective performance reporting & application of commercial innovation across your portfolio of work. You will work closely with our Project Managers to ensure that projects are planned and managed in an effective way.

You can be based in any of our offices throughout the UK – we offer spacious and collaborative workspaces and an opportunity to learn and progress internally. You will provide functional-management and leadership to the project management staff and ensure performance reporting is timely, accurate and appropriate.

Additional responsibilities include offering leadership and support to our project pursuits across the UK and present overall performance status and expectations to key leaders. Manage commercial inputs to pursuits ensuring that risk and opportunity in line with company risk appetite through strong risk governance.

Furthermore, this role will involve supporting existing business sectors to implement and improve commercial and project management practices. ABOUT YOU

You are a seasoned Commercial Manager. Previous experience within a Professional Services Engineering organisation would be advantageous along with knowledge of NEC Contracts.

An excellent commercial and financial acumen with the ability to communicate commercial and financial concepts to those with less knowledge. You will also need to have good project management and operational management skills.
