Your Opportunity

Stantec’s Community Development team in Irvine CA, is seeking an Agency Permit Coordinator who works with public and private clients to design and obtain agency approvals / construction permits for a wide range of community development infrastructure improvements.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Leading the compilation of agency applications and submittal packages.

  • Coordinating with clients, team members, and agency staff to respond to requests for additional or clarifying application information.

  • Performing research on application requirements, and records of existing improvements and maps.

  • Maintaining records and logs to track the status of agency approvals and permits - Assisting with other project related administrative functions.

  • Utilizing your personal vehicle (w/ reimbursement for miles driven on company business) to make agency submittals and pick up application comments.

Your Capabilities and Credentials

  • Prior experience working with / for an A&E consulting firm, construction company, project developer, or public agency.

  • General knowledge of agency application requirements and approval processes.

  • Energetic and collaborative team player.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, etc.).

  • Well organized with ability to track and prioritize multiple assignments.

  • Good driving record and valid driver’s license.
