Stantec Treatment is looking to strengthen their leakage and networks team with an Assistant Field Technician covering projects throughout Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire and Northamptonshire for our Anglian Water framework. We cover a large area so flexibility to be able to travel is key for this role.
The Leakage and Networks department deliver a range of services to UK water companies. We are currently delivering leakage detection services for our client Anglian water. We also provide network analytics and modelling services, pressure management and leakage consultancy services from our centre of excellence in Salford Quays.
You will report directly to the Area Manager and the responsibilities will include:
• Deploying and retrieving noise loggers in accordance with training
• Reading and interpreting water network maps
• Utilising supplied technology to optimise performance
• Lifting and re-positioning multiple fitting lids and/or stop tap covers (130 – 240 per day).
• Transferring recorded data via PDA unit.
• Completion of project related paperwork
• Being the public face of both Stantec and Anglian water.
• As and when required, undertake training in aspects of leakage detection
• Driving safely between DMA’s (areas of work).

• Physically fit and willing to work in an outdoors role
