Administrative professional needed for the Fairmont Office located on 111 Elkins Street. The Administrative Assistant must have a professional presentation, superior interpersonal skills over the phone and in-person and must thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Your Key Responsibilities
Assists with typing letters, reports, forms or other materials
Performs clerical and administrative functions such as filing, sorting, mail and package distribution, and scheduling appointments/events
Assists with client invoicing and invoice processing
Assists with preparing construction documents
Assists in answering phones and greeting visitors
Responsible for ordering office supplies and maintaining inventory
Your Capabilities and Credentials
Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, and other office procedures and terminology
Requires administrative experience, reading, writing, grammar, and good clerical and communication skills
Requires skills in using computer applications for word processing, spreadsheets, databases, internet navigation, e-mail and calendars
High level of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat
Operates office machines, such as photocopiers and scanners, facsimile machines, voice mail systems, and personal computers
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum of three (3) years' experience with administrative duties
Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.
