We are currently seeking a full time Intermediate Piping Designer for our Edmonton office. The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator and skilled problem solver with a commitment to thrive in a proactive organization where client service and individual excellence are paramount. This is a dynamic work environment where you will be able to challenge your abilities and CAD skills.
Your Key Responsibilities
Support various size projects from conceptual thru detailed engineering, related to process piping.
Build 3D piping models using AutoPlant and/or CADWorx
Prepare isometric and orthographic drawings from a 3D model.
Assist in P&ID development, including drafting, correlating documents etc.
Check quality and accuracy of your own work.
Assist in site visits when required.
Your Capabilities and Credentials
Minimum 5 years of experience.
Good working knowledge of AutoCAD software.
Good working knowledge of AutoPlant and/or CADWorx 3D software.
Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be a self-starter and motivated.
Must have strong attention to detail.
Should be willing to receive directions and have a willingness to learn.
Education and Experience
Diploma in Engineering Design and Drafting Technology
