Stantec is currently looking for an Senior Technologist to support electrical design works for our ongoing building projects. to join our dynamic team in Dubai.
As a BIM Technologist, it is expected that your job duties will be flexible; providing BIM assistance for multiple projects within multiple disciplines as assigned.
Your day to day tasks include but not limited to:
BIM modeling activities respecting internal process best practices and corporate standards.
Contribution into Revit project environment setup with respect to the Project dPxP/BEP.
Ensuring QA/QC exercise and self-review of the work done.
Contribution into the spatial design coordination process using Navisworks platform.
Implementing the directions from discipline engineer for clashes mitigation.
BIM documentation, printing, binding, and other CAD related assistance for the Project and Discipline Engineers.
Senior BIM Technologist – ELV / Electrical
If you have the following qualifications, we would love for you to be a part our diverse team:
5-10 Years of BIM related experience working within an architectural or engineering design group, working for ELV systems in Revit MEP.
Preferably a minimum of 5 years of local experience in UAE.
Certificate/Degree in Electrical Engineering or Diploma in Draftsmanship/BIM from an accredited university or technical board.
Experience with ELV/ electrical design.
Understanding of multidisciplinary coordination through good design practice.
Proven track record of experience with BIM authoring and proper modeling/drafting methods and techniques.
Knowledge of design review and coordination software such as Navisworks.
Working knowledge of MS Office programs will be an added advantage.
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
