Stantec is currently looking for Civil Inspectors to support on a Sewage Treatment Plant Project in Qatar:

• Experience in Pump Stations and large Sewage Treatment Works involved in construction of heavy water retention structures

• Experience should include construction involving structural, concrete, buildings, piping, installations, deep excavations and pavement/roadworks, utilities diversion/interface, etc...

• Monitor and inspect the construction work and ensure compliance with authority requirements and the Health & Safety and Welfare requirement is being carried out as well.

• Attend progress and technical meetings with the project team

• Responsible for checking all the data gathered and assist in the review of as-built drawings, and for conducting spot checks of actual works for the accuracy of the data collected

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering

• Minimum of 10 years experience of supervision of civil construction projects, of which 5 years shall be in works related to Pump Stations or STW projects or Water Retaining Structures

• Must have good command of English both written and spoken

• Computer skills are mandatory
