Stantec Lead Structural Engineer in Doha, Qatar
MWH, now a part of Stantec is currently seeking a Lead Structural Engineer for a site operation managing the New District of Doha Pumping Station and Outfall Project in Qatar.
The ideal candidate will be a strong well disciplined, task driven highly technical and experienced lead structural design specialist who has specialized primarily in scoping, concept, layout, preliminary and detailed design of large scale deep basement structures and/or utility buildings and/or pumping stations or plant rooms and the associated comprehensive foundation and above ground facilities and structures designs etc.
Extensive experience in the layout and configuration and design plus the detailed structural design and layout of pumping stations/deep basements/sumps etc and the preparation of technical specifications and detailed design drawings.
Extensive hands on experience in the use of structural design analysis computer software packages for structural analysis and design.
Latterly this candidate will also have been providing high level hands on detailed technical review and auditing and signoff of all aspects of the structural designs for large scale deep basement structures and/or utility buildings and/or pumping stations or plant rooms.

-Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
-Internationally recognized chartership
-10-15 years of relevant experience
- Experience working in the GCC.
The ability to manage a heavy workload, with a close attention to detail

The ability to work autonomously, reviewing your work on a regular basis while consistently meeting your objectives
