We currently looking for a Transport Planner / Senior Transport Planner to join us in Cambridge. This is a great opportunity to join our reputable Transport team, who work with a wide variety of clients in the East of England and beyond. You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, covering major new settlements in the region, the expansion of enterprise zones, and community-based projects from concept through to commissioning and beyond. We create exciting opportunities for the development of our staff and are leaders in our field for the investment in staff development, apprentice programmes, STEM initiatives, and the progression of future business leaders.
On a day-to-day basis, you will have the opportunity to get involved in all aspects of our projects from inception to completion. You will play an important role in developing and influencing transport strategies while assisting with the preparation of Transport Assessments, Transport Statements and Travel Plans. Supervising the junior members of the team will be an important part of your role.

You will be degree qualified ideally in transportation, geography, engineering or a related field.
You will have experience and understanding of the planning system and experience with Transport Assessments, Travel Planning, Junction modelling / analysis and experience of relevant software packages. You will have experience with budget and quality management at project level. You should be working towards professional qualification, for example Transport Planning Professional.
