Stantec Technician / Senior Technician - Civil Infrastructure in Cambridge, United Kingdom
Stantec is currently seeking a Technician / Senior Technician to join our Civil Infrastructure team in Cambridge. As a Technician in the team, you will play an important role in preparing designs, plans and drawings. You will assist with technical approval submissions and preparation of construction details as well as undertaking 3D engineering design modelling, the variety of your work will differ greatly on a day to day basis.
You will have the opportunity to learn and develop your skills while working with a team of professionally qualified engineers and technicians. Ideally, you will have a HNC qualification in civil engineering or equivalent. You will have experience with civil infrastructure design and competency in computer aided drawing and the use of AutoCAD.
You will have experience of Civils 3D ( related 3D design package) experience will a . Experience or knowledge in the use of Autotrack, AutoSign and MicroDrainage (WinDes) or similar would be preferable. You will have strong communication skills and be confident to liaise with all levels of management both within Stantec and with our Clients.
