Your Opportunity

An opportunity exists for a entry level Financial Analyst with strong multi-tasking, interpersonal and organizational skills. As a member of the Financial Services team and business partner with operations, the Financial Analyst will provide financial expertise in the day-to-day operations of financial reporting adding value to the company.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Provide assistance in analyzing and preparation of proposal billing rate structures/rates based on client needs and/or business line financial targets, ensuring that information is prepared and reviewed in a timely manner

  • Provides assistance with maintenance of employee rosters and rate tables for multiple clients.

  • Assist with the gross margin analysis for varying clients and project scopes, including coordination with multiple business lines.

  • Assist with the preparation of working papers for client audits.

  • Assist with preparation of monthly financial reports for business line metrics related to ongoing rate reviews.

  • Maintain excel spreadsheets / analysis tools for various rate structure models to provide recommendations as needed by Management.

  • Ability to interpret and apply accounting policies, procedures and practices

  • Strong financial and analytical background

  • Ability to work in a team environment

  • Strong time-management skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • A high degree of accuracy in data and financial processing

  • Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards would be an asset

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business or Commerce or related field. Eligible for or working towards professional accounting designation preferred. Minimum 2 years of experience.

Position will primarily work in an office setting; may require some field work.
