Our Asset Management Team has a significant track record of successful delivery across the Water and Infrastructure sectors. We support our clients to help them drive performance and realise financial and social value from their assets. We do this by working with clients in a collaborative environment to provide strategic, resilient, and innovative solutions to their performance issues. We work with their teams and stakeholders to unlock hidden data and provide insight into the performance of their asset base, helping them to work more effectively making, systems based, informed and timely decisions
Our continued success in supporting many of the UK’s main utility providers and major infrastructure developers, brings significant growth across the group. As a result, we are looking to appoint an Asset Surveyor into our Bristol team.
Working within the Asset Management Team, the role will be accountable for delivery of condition assessment and inspections of assets across various projects undertaken by Stantec, on behalf of their clients. This will assist clients in developing asset registers and enable future development of condition-based monitoring, relevant maintenance activities (preventative/predictive/planned), asset criticality, capital investment and environmental impact assessment/strategies.
The successful candidate may also become involved in other Stantec wide design and delivery projects across all disciplines and will assist with other asset management related consultancy tasks within the team as required.
You will have strong experience in a similar position, ideally within the water/wastewater sector, with good working knowledge of engineering plants/equipment and an understanding of the applicable building services standards & structures/fabric.
You will have experience of managing client relationships at an operational level, with a sound knowledge of current legislation, technical standards & codes of practice.
You’ll have experience of using CMMS & CAFM systems, be working toward NEBOSH/IOSH qualification and be proficient using mobile surveying software & reporting tools.
