Stantec's Planning and Landscape Architecture group is seeking a career minded Civil Engineer to join our growing team in Boston, MA!
In this role, you will work with our Civil Engineers, Landscape Architects and Site Planners as part of a multi-disciplinary design team on a wide variety of land development projects. Our design studio, located steps from the iconic Boston Garden, is home to over 50 design professionals that comprise the New England Community Development division of Stantec. Our team in involved in a diverse range of project types for private and public clients.
You will be responsible for preparing engineering drawings, specifications, calculations, reports & permit applications for land development projects. You will be provided the opportunity to develop your site/civil engineering design skills and enhance your professional skills while advancing professional career in the long term.

Your Capabilities and Credentials
Applicants should be comfortable working within a team, and should have:
A Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from an accredited Civil Engineering program.
2 or more years of engineering experience in site development and infrastructure design.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements, codes, and legal and design requirements of local municipalities.
Excellent design, computer, written, and verbal communication skills, and comfort managing production and design workflow for small teams on a wide variety of projects are necessary.
Experience in all aspects of site engineering, including: layout, grading, stormwater and utility design and construction observation.
AutoCAD, Civil 3D experience required.
HydroCAD or similar stormwater modeling applications.
Skills and Special Requirements/ Licensing:
- Engineer-in-Training preferred.
