An Intern at Stantec is an emerging professional pursuing a degree in Architecture. As a critical member of our team-based approach, Interns contribute to all phases of our project work from conceptual design to documentation & delivery. We are seeking a motivated individual with strong design and graphic skills to join our team and work on exciting projects
Your Key Responsibilities
Depending on level of experience Interns at Stantec:
Conducts basic interpretations of sketches, drawings, codes, building program and other similar material.
Supports project team in development of design documentation including plans, sections, elevations, & details and evaluate material options.
Utilizes BIM technologies in development of three-dimensional models of buildings and their components.
Assists in research of concept, benchmarks, materials, typology, and precedents.
Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field
Great team player with excellent communication skills and ability to handle multiple tasks
Eager to learn, good listener, curious & proactive
Basic understanding of Revit, Sketchup, & Adobe Creative Suite
