As an Intern, you will work in a team environment and have exposure to the planning and design of parks and recreation facilities; bicycle, pedestrian, and multiuse trails; sports and athletic facilities; healthcare, corporate, and educational campuses; as well as master planned communities including mixed-use and transit-oriented developments.

Your Key Responsibilities
Interns will be encouraged to develop their design skills while supporting our team with existing conditions analysis, concept design, design charrettes, construction documentation, project presentation graphics, and construction administration assistance
Use knowledge of the general concepts of landscape design including site analysis, project theming, schematic design and design development
Develop technical skills and assist the project team with drawings and drafting in the creative design process
Prepare and coordinate activities on assigned projects, including coordination with other technical disciplines
Observe and attend meetings with clients or project stakeholders
Perform other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned
Your Capabilities and Credentials
Excellent design, graphic, computer, writing, and technical skills
Self-motivated and passionate about design
Strong time management, critical thinking, and organizational skills
The ability to work with others, as well as independently
Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Microsoft Office, Sketch-up, GIS, and Adobe Creative Suite is essential; Lumion, grasshopper, and Vray for Rhino is a plus
Education and Experience
- Applicants should be a current student or recent graduate of an accredited Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a Landscape Architecture program
