Your Key Responsibilities
Preparing design reports and CADD drawings for new roadway or roadway improvement projects based on agency design standards and procedures (GDOT, AASHTO, MUTCD, etc.)
Perform calculations and model culverts and pipe networks for stormwater conveyance systems
Assist engineers with developments of project specifications, cost estimates, technical memorandums, and reports.
Collaboration with colleagues in other offices and different areas of expertise in an integrated and fast paced design environment.
Your Capabilities and Credentials
Experience with software packages such as Microstation and InRoads is a plus.
Experience with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel is required.
Experience and knowledge working on GDOT final roadway design and planning projects preferred.
Background and proven work experience in the preparation of roadway design projects is a plus.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology.
1-5 years of roadway design experience.
EIT required, PE preferred -
