Opportunities exist for an Intermediate Project Manager or Transportation Engineer to become part of a dynamic Transportation Infrastructure Engineering group, providing hands-on management of preliminary design and detailed design assignments for public sector clients, including the Ontario Ministry of Transportation and Ontario Southwest/GTA municipalities. As a successful candidate, you would be responsible for assisting with the planning and design of provincial highway, municipal road works, transit facilities, municipal services and drainage; preparing and managing work plan schedules and budgets; and preparing construction drawings/documents, tender specifications, cost estimates, reports, and design briefs.
Your Capabilities and Credentials
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
Professional Engineer registration in the Province of Ontario
7-10 years’ related and applied work experience in the highway/arterial roadway planning, design and construction fields
Experience with Civil 3D, InRoads, Microstation and AutoCAD
Solid technical abilities in the planning and design of transportation facilities
Positive, results-oriented, self-motivated, forward-thinking individual possessing strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong leadership, time management and team building skills to meet the expectations of our supportive and proactive organization, which values and rewards the ability to provide our clients with a quality service and product, and get the job done
